The athlete cheated the race and was caught. He claims he is relieved that he was caught because he could't take the guilt anymore.
In my opinion if he couldn't take the guilt anymore then how could he accept the medal that way? I mean it doesn't seem right. Fake. He isn't good at race walking and doesn't deserve any recognition for beating the record if it was unjust. The other walkers were cheated. Drugs can help you in the moment, but in the end it'll make you worse. I believe he should've just said it then and there that he used drugs. To be honest it was a pretty dumb thing to do, especially if you made it to the Olympics i mean winning isn't everything and he disgraced his country and probably whatever family he had.
